SA will have a huge presence at Hattah this year

This weekend will see the Hattah Desert Race take place, with South Australia sending a huge contingent of riders and support crews heading across the border to ride in Australia’s ‘other’ great desert race! The Hattah Desert Race is held near Hattah Victoria and is located is on Boonoonar Road. The turn off is about 26km south of Red Cliffs.

Motorcycling SA would like to wish all of our riders the best of luck this weekend, ride hard, ride safe and enjoy what is, one of the great events in Australian off road motorcycling!

Friday 6th July

Scrutineering and sign-on

3.00pm - 8.00pm (bikes must remain on display until 8.00pm)

Hattah Desert Race 9.00am start

 As said above, SA will have a huge presence at Hattah this year, across all classes, but we thought we would highlight our older junior riders that are riding, the 12–u/16 girls and 13–u/16 boys, and what an awesome collection of talent they are!

 Motorcycling SA Elite Rider Squad members, Australian & South Australian Champions, and a great insight to the immediate future of the sport here in SA!

A notice from the organisers though regarding drones!

Leave your drones at home. It is illegal to operate drones within the vicinity of a manned aircraft (there is a helicopter on site). All patrons who operate a drone illegally will be reported to the authorities for prosecution, and please note that any riders that are connected with the operation of the drones can be excluded from the event.
