For Immediate Release –

“2018 South Australian MX Championship Classes and Race Format Announced”

The SA MX Panel are pleased to announce the classes that will contest the 2018 South Australian MX Championship presented by Eagle Trailers & Campers, along with the race format for each of the four rounds, The Championship kicks off on the 12th & 13th May at Renmark, hosted by the Riverland Junior Motocross Club.

The first change from the 2017 Race Schedule is the introduction of the FIRST only GIRLS junior class - 85cc Std-B/Wheel 12 – U16 Years to compete on the Saturday. MSA and the SAMX Panel are excited to be trying something new for the girl’s class and hope this will grow our state titles and entice interstate riders to the championships here in SA.

Sunday’s Race format sees the return of the 128-150cc 2 Stroke/200-250cc 4 Stroke 13-U16 Years class, giving the oldest juniors more experience riding on a senior track in preparation for them joining the senior ranks. MSA and SAMX Panel are thrilled to help our elite junior’s progress to senior racing by giving them the chance to ride the rough tracks and watching their expert idol’s racing the same track.
