Statement regarding Tyler Lange from the Lange Family

On Sunday, 14th May 2017 our Son, Brother and Partner Tyler was involved in a major accident at the Monarto Moto X Track.

Tyler was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and remains there in the Intensive Care Unit in a Critical but Stable Condition.

Whilst Tyler’s injuries are very serious and he is still in the critical early stages, he is showing signs of improvement.

The outpouring of support for Tyler and our Family has been very overwhelming and very humbling. We cannot thank people enough for their positive thoughts and prayers.

To the Officials of the Meeting, the Club/Track Personnel, the Flag Marshals from the Cancer Research Advocate Bikers Group (C.R.A.B.S.) and our fellow Competitors we extend our sincere gratitude. The team work shown by everyone was amazing.

To First Care Medical – your treatment at the track of Tyler saved his life. There are no words to describe how grateful we are for your support, your constant communication with us and Your Professionalism. We know the outcome would have been completely different if we didn’t have you there.

A special mention to Izak Maule – fellow Competitor and Friend of Tyler’s. The Sportsmanship you showed by immediately stopping your bike and tending to Tyler – then ensuring help was coming for your fallen comrade is commendable. It means so much to us.

We will advise more on Tyler’s condition as it continues to be known, but at this stage we ask that People continue to keep him in their thoughts and send positive messages and prayers.

Again, we thank everyone for their love and support.
