The Sidecar field will see the return to action of David Manuel for the first time since his crash in the Welsh 2 Day event back in June, and with son Brad in the chair they will lead the field away, with them and the other Expert teams of Darren Winter & Lachlan Greenhalgh and Ben Mayne & Ash Ball likely to fight out the outright win on 3 wheels, but do keep an eye on the Clubman team of Shaun Harman & Shayne Bain who have been having a great year which includes a win at Robbie, and the ever improving team of Scott Launer & Josh Schutz.
Only 16 sidecars will start the event, but it is a quality field, and also includes the Victorian team of Justin & Melissa Foot, who have had their shortest travel time for this round, and will look to keep up their great record of finishes, and make up for the one glitch at the last round at Mallala.
9 Expert Solos will follow the Sidecars out, with the ever-green Rowan Pumpa once again the man to beat, and will be chased hard by the likes of Alex Heidenreich, Adam Wright and Travis Klitscher, as well as Clubman riders like Daniel Banks, Michael Day & Jesse Roesler.
96 solos will take up the challenge this Saturday, which a great field for this round, with the likely conditions to be dry and dusty, so managing air filters will be the task on the day to ensure motors keep working at their maximum.
There will be catering on the day by Palmer CFS starting from 8.30am at the Main Control at Palmer Oval, and it is almost certain that food cooked by a CFS is going to be awesome, so please support those that support our sport. Camping is also available around Palmer Oval on Friday Night if needed. [No Open Fires]
ENTRY TO THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR SPECTATORS – with event programs available at the Palmer Oval to show the way to the spectator points!
